Waste to art 2024 registrations open

Waste 2 Art is a community art competition and exhibition, showcasing art, creative works and functional objects made by the community from reused waste materials. The aim is to challenge peoples’ perceptions about ‘rubbish’ and to celebrate the reuse and recycling of waste through arts and crafts.  Waste 2 Art is coordinated by Netwaste and open to all community members, artists, professional artisans, and children currently residing in the NetWaste region. 2024 is the year of packaging but you can create works from any man-made waste.

The Broken Hill Waste 2 Art program is being run by volunteers from the Broken Hill Art Exchange and Lifeline Broken Hill Country to Coast on behalf of the Broken Hill City Council. Winners will be couriered for the regional final in Parkes Shire.
